Anyone know a solution for 1996 dodge caravan sputtering when stopping?

It runs fine when im driving it, but when it comes to me stopping or slowing down, I run into this problem. It feels like its going to turn off but doesn't. Also, when putting it in reverse, it loses RPM's. Its a V6, 3.3, with over 222,000 miles on it. Any ideas???
