How do I get rid of these pesky Big Headed Ants(pheidole megacephala)?

try chalk - they will not cross a chalk line. You might want to get an exterminator to do the outside of the house (foundation & such) then you can battle the critters in the house. I have hear of stuff that they take back to the nest & it kills the rest of the colony but not sure what it is called
