Can you tell me the title of this movie?

I saw this movie on tv several years ago. The movie is about two families unknown to each other renting the same cottage/house/condo for their vacation...single mom with kids..single father with kids scenario...neither would give up the rental so everyone stayed. I think the father was a chef..I remember a scene where he was in the kitchen preparing a meal and there was a romantic encounter between him and the mom. There was a party later in the movie..maybe a birthday party for one of the kids?.....there was dancing and a song was playing that I really liked but don't know the song title and I would like to know that also. I think the movie title may have had the word duplex in it? This was not an R rated movie..no profanity or that I recall...just good family viewing. I cannot remember any of the actors. The song had what I would call a jamaican beat......
