The contract requires 90% coverage in the city limits, with service at all municipal buildings, parks, lakes, and schools. The dervice is intended to allow free internet access to as many Arlington residents as possible with focus on students, low income and those that cannot afford the services of commercial ISP's. The official announcement will drown out the bragging rights of the city of Dallas which recently rolled out its downtown Wi-Fi service. I feel this is very exciting and will further serve to "put Arlington on the map". What do you think?
