How do I convince my dad to let me get a rabbit?
I want a pair of 4 year old mini rex rabbits from a local animal rescue league more then anything. I've been doing research on rabbits and begging for one for 3 years, and I know a lot about them. I've written up lists of everything I need, prices, and where I can find them. I've read about house rabbits, and decided my rabbits will live indoors, they will have a large NIC cage for when I'm not home, and will be allowed in my bunny proofed bedroom, and given more room once they are in control of their accidents and chewing. I am not some spoiled brat begging for this and that every other week. I can pay for everything, and have even found a vet in the area that cares for rabbits. My father thinks that the rabbit will a.) stink up the whole house b.) sit around and do nothing, and c.) that I will get bored of it once I realize it's not a dog ( I used to want a dog when I was like 7-11, but my sister is allergic and my parents don't want pets). How do I convince him that rabbits do more then just sit around when they have the right living conditions, and that I will not get bored of it (trust me, I won't).
