What To Do When You Repent And Your Wife Does Not Believe?
When we both began in the relationship, we both were the type of christians that say they are saved but did not totally understood what that mean't. My life has changed and I have committed myself to God first and foremost. I have also committed myself to my wife and child. With my wife, she appears not interested in anything related to faith. She is not interested. I have asked if we can talk about our faiths and beliefs, she doesn't want to. She said there were things she didn't understand and I offered to work on it as a wife and husband together, she not interested. I asked if we could do spiritual counseling with the church. She said she didn't think the people at the church should know her business. I'm at my wits end. I understand I am supposed to be patient, loving, and understanding and allowing Christ to be shown through me. It's hard. I don't fee like she wants to and she says she don't feel like she is a bad person or doing anything wrong. Getting her to come to church on sundays is like pulling teeth. I pray all the time about this. I don't think she takes it seriously, but for me God has told me that time is at hand. Maybe this is just me. I want my family to all come to Christ before it is too late. Biblical stories like Lott being physically worry me. Serious advice please
