Does my ethnicity have anything to do with how I like chocolate?

My "best friend" says white people love chocolate and black people love vanilla is this true? I'm Spanish, British, Irish and Native American (other stuff too), I like chocolate, does this have anything to do with it. Do Spaniards like chocolate? Are Spaniards White?
